Victoria Williams

Hi!

I'm Victoria Williams, here to help you in your music theory journey! With me you will be able to...

  • ✓ replace guesswork with secure knowledge and real practical skills
  • ✓ progress through the music theory grades with a proven, clear and systematic approach
  • ✓ build a confident, independent and long-lasting understanding of music theory

I started MyMusicTheory.com way back in 2007 - all my courses have been thoroughly tested by thousands of students and are constantly updated and improved. Here's a little bit more about me...

  • → I graduated with a degree in music, (specialising in musicology), from the University of Leeds in 1995.
  • → I hold both diplomas in music theory from Trinity College London AmusTCL (distinction) and LmusTCL.
  • → I also hold Grade 8 Composition (Distinction) from LCM.
  • → I teach woodwind and piano (and theory!) in South Cambridgeshire as a private and visiting music teacher, and also in a volunteer role at the local music workshop.

Students of my courses generally gain top marks in their exams (and so can you!)

Hi, I’m a teacher at 6th Form College and I would like to say a massive thank you, since we used your site this year for our BTEC level 3 students of music performance.
Our theory grade has increased by 68% over the whole board on the college campus. Thanks for all the work and help!

Great Site and Great work. You bring millions of smile to small group of dedicated musicians here in India. No words to say just wanted to say “The world is such nice place because of such wonderful people like you.” Thank you for such a great source of information on music.
